We took Austin to the Shenandoah Crossing resort in the Blue Ridge Mountains to close out our summer of vacationing. It was a nice relaxing place and a good way to spend our last week here in good old Virginia. We have had such a busy summer, but it certainly won't stop us from doing it again next year. Austin has such a great time seeing new places and to us that is worth the hustle and bustle and all the planning. Everyone always says,"They grow up so fast...enjoy them." Driving the horses
Austin was so excited that he was asked to help drive the horses...He did a great job too. He would say woooh at all the stops signs.

We were just roasting some marsh mallows, but a boy is not a boy without some type of odd behavior.

Sandiego California day 7 (Doggie Beach)
We took Dude to Doggie Beach and ended up getting a little wet ourselves.

We went on a lot of rides, but our favorite was his first roller coaster ride. as you can see he actually put his hands up fo it. I couldn't believe how fast it actually was.

California day 4 (Sea World)
At the "Bay of Play" just inside Sea World. It was a Sesame Street sponsored park with rides and of course the water area.

At the Dolphin show...we got a little wet, not as wet as we got at the shamu show though. Austin was so excited that the big fish splashed him.

He loved every minute of Sea World. 3 years is a great age for things like this...everything is exciting to him no matter how small the exhibit. If you asked him what he like best it would be anything from the little penguins to the big shamu show.
