Cutting Off His Winter Hair (January 23, 2011)

 We finally decided to cut off the winter hair...

 He looks like two different kids compared to his long and short hair...it is amazing how different he looks with each style.

 Dad snagged a piece of hair!!!

Althoug he likes the long hair...he is always excited to get it all cut off too.

Messy Creativity...Is Their Any Other Kind??

 One afternoon of art projects and the computer room turns into a disaster.

 Of course I certainly added to the mess. I have leaned that if you can't beat'em then join'em. And worry about clean up after the fun has been had!

It is all worth it though when we can add new master pieces to his "Austin's Art" chalk board that daddy made for him. I never thought I would put magnetic chalk board paint on my wall, but never say never!!

Stuck Inside

OK...so this is what Austin does on the days when it is too cold to go outside. He builds forts around the dog. She doesn't look very amused, but trust me she loves the attention. Maggie is a great dog and we love her for the hours of entertainment and companionship she has given Austin through the years!! Cheers to Maggie!!

BIG BALL (January 15, 2011)

 It was a nice day out today so we decided to get Austins' Christmas present from Aunt Ericka, Lilly, Maddie, and Uncle Matt out.

 Pretty obvious that he loves it and all his friends do to. They come over and see it in the garage and always ask to play with it.

 The kids like to get in it and have others push them in the ditch in the front of the yard...

Maggie has little interest in it so far...which would make maybe two of Austins' presents that she doesn't find fascinating. Which is wierd because...well it is a huge ball and she loves balls?

Christmas Morning

If you look closely in this picture you will see the tip of Michael's Nerf gun pointed out from the stairs and Austin's Nerf gun pointed towards the stairs. Yes, the boys had to play all morning with all of Austin's new toys. I am ohh so looking forward to the girl toys; although my luck she will be a tom boy!! Thats ok we can all have Nerf guns and play hot wheels. 

The Baby Shower

 Thank God for my mother, who without fail, always helps Michael and I celebrate our life and achievements together. She makes everything special purley from her heart...hope everyone enjoyed the shower! I am also greatful for all who came. I know that Christmas is a busy time and I consider it no less a miracle how everyone was able to give 4 hours of their time on the last Sunday before Christmas to celebrate with us. Unfortuantly it was the only time that I could come due to Austin and I having to be back for school. Thanks again to all...God bless, and Happy New Year!!
