Rent a Puppy

 This is Penelope or Nellie for short, the neighbors dog. She left Austin a key to her house and said that any time during the day he can go and get her to play. It is the best of both worlds. The kids get to get enjoyment out of a puppy and I get to take it home when they are done!! 

Rain Rain Don't Go Away!!

Austin and his friend Jake playing in the flooded ditches. We are having so much rain from the hurricane that everything is flooding. All aspects of the flooding stink besides the fact that it allows boys to be boys!!

 Rae didn't get to go in the ditches but she certainly loved to play in the rain.

 We let Austin open all of his gifts from family on his actual birthday. These are the pics from that. Unfortunately I forgot to charge my camera so this is all that I captured before the battery quit.

 Austin birthday was great. I don't think a smile left his face once. He had a great day and then had kids sleep over to continue the fun the next day.

 Miniature bowling was fun. We have never done it prior to coming here and everyone got a kick out of it. We even taught Reagan how to bowl.

 Yes, Reagan did bowl, but I have learned that even miniature balls make very loud noises when they are thrown directly at the floor. If bowling ever makes it to the Olympics I don't think Reagan would represent the American team!! 

Story time at the lodge is pretty cool. I think it was my favorite part. All the kids come in their pj's and listen to the wolf and staff tell stories.
