Our Trip to Gordonsville

We went to see Monticello and the kids posed with Jefferson...Reagan actually held his hand, it was cute.
In the discovery room at Monticello...the kids got to see how the slaves lived.
This is called a polygraph. It makes a copy of everything you write.

A Carters Apple Orchard in Charlottesville, picking the best apples with our very own apple pickers.

Our 30 lb. pumpkin, that daddy thought would only be 20lb. I guess he is not doing any state fairs any time soon.

The big chess game in the kids zone at the resort.

This kids were farm hands saturday morning. They had to feed the chickens and groom the horses, then they got a carriage ride pulled by dock and Duke.

Random Days of Our Lives

Everyone had to take turns with the shades...even Elmo.

This is why Reagan can't be alone...I was sitting on the front porch watching Austin practice punting, when Rea said she needed hand sanitizer. I told her she would have to wait, cause I knew it was on the top shelf (apparently she did too). Two minutes later she brought me one, so I told her to show me how she got it down and this is how she did it.

Reagan's First Day of Preschool

Our little girl started Pre School today and although she cried when I left she had an amazing day. She said she made friends and wants to go back tomorrow.

First Day of Third Grade

Austin's first day of 3rd grade and Reagan dressed for her princess party. She insisted on wearing her shoes and tutu to drop brother off!

Princess Party

Snow White came to visit the children at Reagan's gymnastics center. They had stories, singing, dancing, and games.
Of course Reagan and her bestie, Bailey, went together.

GrandView Nature Preserve

Took the kids to a new beach today...it is a nature preserve and very well hidden. We had to walk a half mile in the brush just to get to it...but well worth it. The kids found horseshoe crabs, hermit crabs, sand fish, and shells.

Our daughter who was once afraid of the sand now lays in it...it is always one extreme to the other with her!!
So no it was not a nude beach, but once I took Reagans suit off to change her into dry clothes she took off running.
