Girls Night Out at Chic Fil A

 Chic Fil A had a girls night out party and Rea and Ansley had a a great time. The local business came in and did hair and nails and makeup. The best part is that Chic Fil A does all of this for free. They are all about bringing families together and they don't just walk the walk...they talk the talk!! 

 Tinker Bell came and hung out for the whole night.

Imagination Village

 Imagination Village opened up about 30 minutes away from us, so I took Rea to play with one of her girlfriends there. It was so much fun. Basically the kids play with all the toys and the parents don't have to clean up!!

Bobcat Badge

 Austin pinned on his Bobcat Badge tonight in Cub Scouts. What was really neat was that his cousin, Shane, pinned his on tonight as well. Two different troop, two different states, and still two cousins embark on the same journey at the same time! Congratulations boys we love you both.

Austin in all his glory...still does not have all his uniform, but at least he has a shirt to pin on his badge!!

Jamestowne Settlement

 Took the kids and their friends to the Jamestowne Settlement for Veterans Day. It was awesome and kids had a blast. It is truly amazing to be in the same spot that our country was founded (or first settled anyway)!

 The boys had to stop and get dirt out of their shoes...Austin, Jeffrey, Chevon, and Aaron.

 I think this was the settlers form of playpens for the kids...

Mary, Emily, Ansley, and Reagan in the remains of the first church on the island. Some of it has been restored, but seeing the remains was cool.

The Bribe

 The Velveteen Rabbit had Santa come in for the day and all patrons were able to shoot photos for free with him. In order to get the picture this year I had to bribe the kids with ice cream from Sweet Frog. I am thinking Austin is going to try and boycott the Santa pic next year....he may put up a good fight, but I think I am going to hold on to the Santa picture taking for a couple more years!
