We are so proud of Austin and all he has accomplished. He has been on honor roll and only received high grades since he started school. He has received four letters from Rick Morris, a member of the Virginia House of Delegates for being on honor roll as well as a letter from the Senate of Virginia for being named to the Honor Roll at Carrollton Elementary. Along with keeping his grades up he also had to pass all the state mandated Standard of Learning Tests, which consisted of a rigorous week of 5 exams testing his comprehension in reading, science, math, and social studies. Not only did he pass these tests but he passed them in the advanced category. He did all of this while participating in Scouts and excelling at soccer so much so that he was picked up for the elite travel team starting in the fall. Next year he begins a new chapter at Isle of Wight Academy...we know he will do great!

Just Because
Our pretty little princess! I can't believe how old she is, seems like we just had her, and now she is 3. We just finished selling all our ads for the pageant magazine and looking forward to the pageant itself. And now comes the hard part....putting a little bit of "lady" in this otherwise tomboy child of mine! Yesterday all day I had to yell at her to keep her dress down and stop showing her underwear. I can just see it now on stage in her big pretty dress...well lets keep our fingers crossed she doesn't.
Water Fun
We started washing the cars and after the kids ended up more wet that the vehicles we decided to put swimsuits on and play in the sprinkler.
Giving Mags a Bath
It is an all hands effort to wash Mags these days...she always tries to get away. I got two washing her and one distracting her!
