First Day of School

First day of school!!! Austin started school Wednesday at Isle of Wight Academy...This is a big change for him academically, but we know he will do great. Hallelujah for only 16 kids in his class and a required cursive curriculum, in fact everything he writes has to be in cursive!!! :)

Childrens Museum Visit

I took Rea to the Childrens Museum on Wednesday to keep my mind of Austin starting school that day. I think Michael and I were more nervous than he was...Rea enjoyed the mommy and me day!

First Weekend Playing Select

Austin has been working hard all summer getting ready for the start of travel soccer. The season has not started yet but they had a tournament last weekend playing two games on Saturday. First Game Austin was in goal the whole game, and did awesome. He blocked every shot besides one and trust me the team was kicking them at him, we won 7 to 1!! Second game coach took him out of the goal and he scored 3 shots. we won the second game 11 to 1. This weekend we have another tournament in Yorktown sat and sun for a total of 4 games. Austin has learned a ton this summer and grown as a player, we look forward to seeing what this team can do!

Austin's 9th Birthday Party

We did Lego theme this year and I think I had the most fun with this one than any other.
 Lego Cupcakes
I made all 13 gifts bags...thats 78 little circle cut and adhered to the party bags.
This was a dart game. I had some neighborhood kids come over and stuff balloons with prizes then we blew them all up and strung them on the fence so kids could pop them with darts, a lot like at the carnival.
 Silly string wars...

 Happy Birthday Peanut.

we even decorated the TV with the Lego Movie Logo. and filled mason jars with Legos. And in the picture below I filled my candle holder with legos instead of candles!
Loki on the trampoline...he jumped up and played with the kids:)

Living Museum With Abbi

We went to the Living Museum today to see the new  dinosaur exhibit. Also they have a new area called "live well" where kids can be vets and take care of the animals. Really great play time. Reagan took care of a skunk...of all the animals down there, she wanted the skunk.

 Skunky, her stinky patient!

Isle of Wight County Pageant 2014

Our little Queen. Reagan took the title of Wee Miss Isle of Wight yesterday at the county pageant. She has worked so hard these past couple months and we look forward to the year of events she will be participating in. These girls who stand beside her and represent their categories as queens as well are such amazing role models. They are all accomplished young women who will be a positive influence in Reagan's life. We are so blessed to have such a gracious, loving, outgoing daughter. She was so grateful to be the winner, she couldn't stop saying thank you to everyone. This was one of the best experiences and so many more good ones are to follow through the year. Not only do all of these ladies win the title for the year, but they also get scholarships for college!
 Perfecting her Miss America wave.

Opening number dance routine. (reagan is in the front middle with the red shirt)
loving brother....who jumped up in the isle when she won!
Reagan and Bailey...Reagan has such wonderful friends. Bailey and Kristin drove an hour to come and see Reagan take the crown!
Three trophies...the one in the middle is for winning the crown and title. The two off to the side are for best formal wear and best interview. Reagan almost swept the pageant she won all but one trophy.
Her crown. It is surprisingly heavier than I thought it would be.
 Her sash...
Our excited girl!!
